Children
Play-based and creative methods help children express feelings they don't yet have words for.

I support children, teenagers and their families through difficult times – gently, as equals, and with plenty of room for whatever is present right now.
Attitude
Every child carries a story of their own. Sometimes it needs a safe place where it can be told – without hurry, without judgement, with plenty of warmth and the certainty: you are just right, exactly as you are.
About
For more than ten years I have been accompanying children and teenagers through challenging phases of life. I'm continually amazed by how much strength young people carry – sometimes it just needs a safe place to unfold.
My work combines cognitive-behavioural methods with play therapy and systemic elements. What matters most to me is a relationship in which children and parents alike feel seen.

Services
Play-based and creative methods help children express feelings they don't yet have words for.
A confidential space for questions of identity, pressure to perform, low moods and everything that weighs heavy between childhood and adulthood.
Parents are the experts on their child. In parent sessions we strengthen connection, understanding and confidence in everyday life.
Careful psychological assessment brings clarity – for example when ADHD, learning or developmental difficulties are suspected.
Process
Therapy isn't a fixed plan but a path we walk together. This is what it usually looks like:
In a first session we get to know each other calmly. You share your concerns, I answer your questions – with no obligation.
In trial sessions we take a closer look: what does your child need? Together we define goals.
In therapy your child discovers new ways to handle feelings and challenges. Parents are involved regularly.
A good ending is part of therapy. We consolidate what has been achieved and look ahead with new strength.

For diagnosed conditions, Austrian health insurance funds (e.g. ÖGK, BVAEB, SVS) provide a subsidy towards psychotherapy costs. I'm happy to explain how to apply during the initial consultation. Self-paying clients are also very welcome.
I work with children from around three years of age up to young adults of 21. With very young children, the focus is often more on working with the parents.
That's very individual. Short-term therapy comprises up to 24 sessions, long-term therapy correspondingly more. Sessions usually take place weekly and last 50 minutes.
Usually I work with the child or teenager alone. In addition, there are regular parent sessions – about every fourth session – so everyone stays well connected.
Everything discussed in therapy is confidential. With teenagers, I openly discuss which content is shared with parents – and which isn't.
A first session is usually possible within two to three weeks. There may be a waiting period for a regular therapy slot – I'm happy to tell you the current status.
